This is the music video for the song ‘Digital World’ by Awesome New Republic (directed by Ryan Hooks). I’m an actor in the video, having my beard shaved off frame by frame and I go through a quick costume change. I am featured several times throughout. I really like the song and think the video turned out great - enjoy!
Love the effects used in this.
Really diggin’ Derek Moench’s new video for the new Gemini Wolf track “Sudseyfuss”. That’s some wild, colorful stuff, and a killer song, too.

This video is all over the map but in a fun way. I’d like to know how they did that cool gliter effect.
I guess you could call me an Aussie hip hop artist. I’ve been MCing around...
– - Scott Burns, the musician featured in this week’s music video
If you want to learn more about Scott Burns, I’d recommend heading over HERE or just listening in HERE.
If you’re into DIY filmmaking and haven’t checked out Indy Mogul yet, then boy, you are missing out.
On the latest addition of Backyard FX, the gang made a SnorriCam. What is that, you ask? It’s a camera strapped to the body of an actor so that in each shot, the face of the actor is fixed but the world moves around it. A VERY cool effect. Since they get kinda pricey, they showed...

Is this something we’ll be seeing more of? Can’t say I’d be too sad at all!
(found but not reblogged via Yvynyl)
In the comments section of the Young Righchus and Max Berry video, Ridin’, commenter jkc noted that the video was quite a bit like a Nyle video, released a few months ago. Curious to see what the other video was, a link was posted to Nyle’s “Let the Beat Build”. I’ve seen it before and can definitely understand why someone might think the videos were linked in some...

Jenny Lewis’ new music video for “See Fernando” is a 70’s noir tale seemingly about James Bond’s less successful baby brother, Fernando.
Just goes to show how much you can do with a set of well- costumed characters and great story narration!

He started the Movable Type Pictures production company with his brother Blake Engel and Dale Fagan and already has his foot in the door for a big career in film. He’s worked on Army Wives and with director Chris Hanley and recently had two entries accepted to the...

Not going to ruin it for you and say who I voted for but all three videos are great, will get the song stuck in your head and are a blast to watch. The band even breaks it down and gives you a bit of background on how each video was made, just click on More Info.
And irregardless of which music video they pick, I’m totally impressed that they made THREE music videos to begin with.
